Spinner Card Tutorial

Good Afternoon! What a beautiful, chilly day it is!
Pull out your stamping supplies and make this fun spinner card. Or come and see me at the cabin and make it with my supplies.
Here are the supplies I used for this project (All Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted)

- Bashful Blue cardstock  5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
– Marina Mist cardstock  5 1/4" x 4
- Versa Mark ink (Pen and Ink Pad)

-Whisper White Craft ink
- Marina Mist ink pad
- Rose Red Marker
- Basic Black Marker
-White Embossing powder
- Clear embossing powder
- Dimensionals
- Mounting Tape (non-SU)
- 2 pennies
-Mica Flakes
- Word Window punch
- Stamps: Four the Holidays; Wonderful Winterland
Step #1 - Taking the Marina Mist (smaller piece of card stock) use a pencil to make a mark 3/4"  in from each side about 1 1/2" from the top.

Step #2 - Using the Word Window punch line up the dot with the curve of the word window and punch out each edge and then just punch out the center. *TIP: I punched out as far as the reach was from the edge of the paper rather than trying to measure that distance.  You will also want to decorate the front of this cardstock now before you attach the "spin" of your card or mounting tape.

Step #3 - Create whatever you would like to be your "spin" on your card I used the Wonderful Winterland stamp set  for this and stamped the greeting from the Four the Holidays set.

Step #4 – Using a couple of glue dots secure a penny to the center of the back of the image you want to spin and set it aside.

Step #5 – Place a second penny underneath the Word Window slide and place a dimensional on top of it....next you will adhere it to the first.  Congratulations...you just made your card an official SPINNER :)

Step #6 - Take the mounting tape and cut two pieces, each about 4" long.  One is for the top and one is for the bottom. Make sure your top one will clear the penny spinning or else your card won't spin.

Now just mount this to your card front and you're done!

These are a lot of fun to make and to give, too.  Thanks for stopping by !!!
